Assessing an Adobe Experience Manager Architecture

Almost every year a new version of Adobe Experience Manager is released and the upgrade can be a good way to better leverage new features and improve user experience, along with enhancing and reviewing the system’s stability, supportability and security. However, upgrading an AEM environment can be a challenge for an unprepared organization, especially when dealing with old and complex customizations and configurations that had been layered one on top of each other during the years. Most of the time our clients are disoriented: what should be done to refresh the current architecture? Does my implementation follow security best practices? What is the most effective strategy to speed up the upgrade process? How long will it take, and how much will it cost? The answers to all those questions require an earlier assessment, which helps to detect some critical issues and the best course of action to face them and mitigate risks.
