As we were working on a database migration from an on-premise to a cloud solution, we were supposed to test dozens of data processes that influence hundreds of database objects on multiple separate dates. If we were to perform such comparisons manually, table by table, we would still have been testing. Thus, we have developed an automated testing framework that allows to test database objects under various conditions and to pinpoint particular data issues within a short timeframe. Eventually, it took us only a few months to do extensive testing, ensure stellar data quality, and, most importantly, we left our customer highly satisfied.
