Low-code on the Microsoft Power Platform

The Microsoft Power Platform is a platform to create your own apps and workflows without prior knowledge - in Microsoft terms it's "Power Apps" and "Power Automate". This enables IT-savvy employees from specialist departments to create the best solutions for them, because the domain knowledge does not first have to be transferred to the central IT department or an external service provider to then implement the solution.

Citizen Developers and Pro Developers - Does that work?

But what happens when a use case needs to be scaled? When other systems need to be connected? When mass data processing is to be executed with high performance? Where does low-code reach its limits and where do IT specialists have to provide support? Or is the low-code approach already so mature that you can create deployments, repositories and pipelines yourself? We report on differences and the collaboration between Citizen Developers and Pro-Developers on the Microsoft Power Platform.
