Quality Assurance is one of the most time-consuming elements in producing safety-critical systems. The produced components can be scanned using e.g. X-Rays and a 3D computed tomography (CT) image is generated. This CT Scan is manually checked for component defects such as pores, cracks, and it is evaluated if the components fulfill requirements as defined by safety standards.
