Dr. Markus Jung and Jan-Phillipp Kittler, Osram, give insights into an ongoing project of the IoT solution SiteWorx. SiteWorx is the Osram Industrial IoT solution that enables different applications using the same hardware infrastructure: Smart lighting control to reduce electricity costs, integration of sensor technology to monitor facilities, and space utilization and utilization analysis. In a current project in an Osram plant, the solution is also used for corona prevention by controlling the number of people present and for tracking production goods.
